Access Control (ACS)

Any system that limits access through doors, gates, etc. is an Access Control System, or, ACS. It can be as simple as regular door hardware with a lock and key(s) or as complicated and sophisticated as a contact-less smart card system, or, even more advanced, may use biometrics to grant access.

4. Verification of correct individual
