| Job Location: Central Florida |
| Description: Assist senior Inspection Technicians with the performance of inspection & limited service activities on electronic intrusion, access control and fire alarm systems installed at customer sites utilizing active state fire and building codes
|
Duties Include:
Exercise good customer relations skills by dealing with customer problems calmly and effectively, minimizing the number and degree of complaints
Attend training sessions and receive OTJ training on all assigned equipment
Learn how to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, fire codes, software/systems programs, schematics and operational/product manuals to understand the requirements to properly test and inspect all assigned equipment to meet customer specifications
Learn and assist in the programming and implementation of the company’s bar code scanning and device documentation systems.
Utilize pre-planned schedule to ensure all customer inspections are completed on a timely basis
Perform any other duties as directed by management

Desired Education & Experience:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows© operating system , test equipment to include, but not limited to, oscilloscope, DVM, digital analyzers, battery analyzers, frequency meters, decibel meters, and communicating devices is required. Experience may be obtained by progressing through technical positions or with companies where similar experience is required
Must have valid license and a clean driving record meeting company requirements.
Must pass all assigned training modules prior to attending equipment manufacturer’s training programs.
Excellent communications skills using tact and diplomacy when dealing with the customer
May be required to work overtime and be on call to respond to emergency situations.
Must obtain and retain appropriate licenses required by national, state and local codes |
